Automechanika Shanghai 2025 opens tomorrow welcoming 7 465 exhibitors, strongest participation to date
Shanghai, 25 November 2025. Automechanika Shanghai 2025 opens tomorrow with a record 7,465 exhibitors (10 percent increase), from 44 countries and regions reflecting a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry. The exhibition spans 383,000 sqm (nine percent increase); it marks the first time all 15 halls of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) are utilised. With 15 country and region pavilions and a presence from key manufacturing hubs across China, the show delivers a global platform for marketing, trade, information exchange, and education. Activities begin today with the International Automotive Industry Conference 2025 Presented by Automechanika Shanghai – CEO Summit, bringing together executives from around the world to discuss the current and future automotive industry, a reflection of what to expect across the next four days.

Ms Li Zhang, Chairperson of China National Machinery Industry International Co Ltd, stated: “China is now a key player in automotive sales, production, and new energy vehicle development, with growing interest in its industry from players around the world looking to capitalise on opportunities each year. This is evident in the increase of automakers participating as they seek to expand their global presence and enhance supply chains. The shift from being just visitors to active participants demonstrates Automechanika Shanghai’s influence as a platform for strategic collaboration between sectors and countries.”
This year, the exhibition brings together leading car brands such as Chery Holding, GAC Aion, Li Auto, Qingling Motors, and Tesla, as well as a number of the carmakers’ supply chain subsidiaries, including CZAG, DDAC, Dongfeng Wheel, FAW Foundry & Forging, FAWAY, FAWER, HPT, Qingshan Industry, SAIC, Stellantis, WeiChai’s TSINTEL Technology, Wuling Industry and Yuchai Parts. The collection will showcase diversified products and advancements for both fuel-powered and new energy vehicles converging research and development, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service at the fair.
Specialised zones highlight innovations from cutting-edge exhibitors
The New Energy & Connectivity sector has expanded for 50 percent including now some 30 debuting companies, such as ATTC, C*Core, CalmCar, EVPT, Hella Bhap, HICI, HighStar Na+, KYLIN SOFT, Mycar, Quectel, Reavis, Siemens Xcelerator, Stardusts Robot, TIANNENG, Trinova, VERTAXI and Yura. BAOLONG, Carlinx Tech, Deco, Dehong, EVEN, FARET, Hansong, Raytron, Rsemi, Sanhua Automotive, SemiDrive, Tuopu, YINLUN and Youkong Zhixing will also return with semiconductor chips, assisted driving systems, intelligent chassis, powertrain controllers, intelligent robots and a low-altitude aircraft. New energy vehicle components and supply chain manufacturing can be found at the Changzhou, Hubei, Longquan, and Tianjin pavilions. In fact, around 40 percent of all exhibitors will offer new energy and connectivity solutions.
Elsewhere, Parts & Components has expanded by 10 percent, while the Tyres & Wheels section has grown by nearly 50 percent, attracting new exhibitors with broader product displays. Other product sectors include Electrics & Electronics, Diagnostics & Repair / Body & Paint, Accessories, Customising, and Digital Solutions / Services.
The show welcomes new exhibitors such as 3M, BMTS Technology, Castrol, ENOC, FFT, Garrett, GPC, Huntsman, Jingu, Karbel, Miba, MLMH, REFLEK, Shunfuchang, Tanfei, Wheelegend, Winsen, and Yuchai Petronas. Other leading brands include ABT, Aisin, Astemo, Autel, AUTOBACS, Bilstein, BOP, Borgwarner, Bosch, Bright, Continental, Dali, EAE, Gold, Henkel, Horizon, Jingwei Hirain, Launch, Lopal, MAHLE, MP Concepts, New SORL, SDS, Sensata, Shedrive, TOYOTA BOSHOKU (CHlNA), VIE, Weifu, Winda BOTO, YAKIMA, ZF and Zhongding Group Perfusion.
Furthermore, 15 country and region pavilions will house exhibitors from Germany, India, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Türkiye, and more. This participation spans five halls and represents a 20 percent increase in scale compared to the last year.
On a similar note, visitors from nearly 160 countries and regions have registered for Automechanika Shanghai, an increase of 25 percent in the same period of last year. It includes 261 buyer delegations representing 24,000 visitors, from 50 countries and regions. Groups from 10 overseas countries and regions, from Argentina, Denmark, Switzerland, and the UK, to name a few, are participating for the first time.
Largest fringe programme to date kick starts today
The 2025 edition opens with the International Automotive Industry Conference 2025 Presented by Automechanika Shanghai – CEO Summit setting the tone for a robust fringe programme featuring over 94 events designed to inspire collaboration, networking, knowledge exchange, and talent development.
A prime example is the new Technical Seminar Series featuring seven conferences on thermal management for new energy vehicles, ADAS, intelligent chassis technology, and more. Under the Talent Development Series is the Elite Pathway Programme focusing on nurturing young talent. Moreover, the Automotive Supply-Demand Matching Series promotes resource integration by connecting carmakers and component suppliers.
Other prominent events include the Automotive Aftermarket Summit, International Summit on Connected Vehicles Development 2025 Presented Automechanika Shanghai, Used Car Strategy and Development Forum 2025 and China International Tyre Industry Conference 2025.
In addition, Innovation4Mobility will feature over 30 presentations focused on automotive innovation and a Start-up Zone for new brands to connect and showcase soon-to-be commercialised products. The Green Repair Area adopts a training workshop model by combining product showcases, live demonstrations, skills training, networking, and education to enhance the capabilities of industry professionals while promoting sustainable practices. In addition, the Customising X Tech Area brings automotive culture and lifestyle to the forefront. Experiences such as the Red Bull Pit Stop Challenge and Quest for a Racing Master 2.0 will further captivate participants. The show’s mascot panda, affectionately named AutoHu, will be introduced at the #AMS Merchandise Shop.
The Automechanika Shanghai 2025 Live Broadcast will take place from 25 to 28 November in partnership with trade and mass media.
